I seen your cheetah print nails and i love them, i've had many attempts but it doesn't turn out how I want. Just wanted to know if you would be able to give me any tips? Thanks
Thanks! Whenever I do cheetah print nails, I make the spots of color with just the regular nail polish brush, and then I’ve found that a toothpick is the best thing to make the black lines around them. I’ve tried using brushes and whatnot, but I find the lines always look weird when I do that. I hope this helps! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. : )
I absolutely love your blog! You are so talented and whenever you make little comments with your posts they are always drop dead hysterical! I love trying out the things you post, so keep up the creativity and help me look HOT ! : )
Thanks anon! As I have a strange obsession with being funny, you have quickly risen to the status of my favorite person with this message. I’m glad you love the blog, I’ll do my best to keep it up! : )
I can’t believe I have over 500 followers, I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you!! Also, I’m currently working on my needle dragging tutorial, so hopefully that’ll be posted sometime tonight or tomorrow. Once again, thank you soo much, you are all so wonderful and all of your sweet comments really brighten up my days. : )
I love your nail art so much! I was just wondering, do you have any unique ideas for holiday nails? The ones I just did are sort of the right colors, but I'm looking for a good green. Suggestions?
thanks! i’ve actually just been messing around with needle dragging and figured out a pretty cool way to make christmas trees with that, so i think i’m going to make a tutorial for those pretty soon. as far as good greens go, i love essie’s incognito soo much, and opi’s jade is the new black is pretty close to that as well, just not as blue. my favorite dark green has to be american apparel hunter. i hope this helped!
I absolutely love love love your jelly-looking design. It's far by the best I've ever seen using the needle dragging technique, I hope you do a tutorial on it or do you do tutorials?! I'm a new follower. :3 And your nails look so nice and healthy. <3 Do you use anything special to keep them as they are?
Thank you! I’ve never done a tutorial before, but when I get home for winter break I plan on making at least one, and i think the first will be for needle dragging as i’m really into it right now and it’s hard to find a good tutorial. As far as keeping my nails healthy goes, I lightly buff them each time I take my polish off and then put cuticle oil on them. Right now I’m using CND’s solar oil and I really love it, but Essie’s cuticle pen works well too. Thank you so much! : )
Your needle dragging looks amazing! How in the world? I'm so curious. Do a tutorial :)
that’s what I was planning on doing! i’ve tried it a few times before and never liked how it turned out, but i think i finally figured it out and am a little bit obsessssed. it’ll be up in a week or so hopefully! : )
Oh my gosh, your nail art is so beautiful! I'm very interested to read your upcoming tutorial! :) I was wondering- do you use nail stencils at all? Do you know anything about a good site to get them from, and would you recommend them? I'm not terrific at free hand :P
Thank you so much! I’m kind of excited and nervous to make the tutorial- I’ve never done one before. And unfortunately I don’t have any information about nail stencils. I know you can find them at target if you get a pack of kiss nail art polishes, so I do have a few but no idea how to use them. Maybe I’ll try them out a little and get back to you about them. Thanks! : )
How have you become so talented at painting nails? You are really good and it is sooo cool. :)
this is so flattering! to be honest, i just do it all the time. even at my busiest, i paint my nails (or the nails of my friends) every other day and i’ve been doing so for a while. even just on my tumblr, it’s easy to see how much progress i’ve made over just a few months. there’s no easy way to get really good, you just need to practice, practice, practice! thanks for the ask : )
wow, thank you so much! mostly, it’s a ton of practice, but i use some of milani’s nail art polishes, and then if i need to make small lines with other colors I have a bunch of regular paint brushes that i trimmed down to make really tiny. : )
Cute nails. How long have you been doing nail design? Anna
Thanks so much! I’ve always liked painting my nails but I started really getting into nail art about a year or so ago. For the longest time I only did cheetah print haha, but then I discovered there’s so much other stuff you can do, too!
