AMERICA. Elise is awesome because she lets me paint whatever I want on her nails. And she loves bald eagles. They’re her bird of 2013!! I’m obsessed with these nails, and her.
reblogging these for USA v Belgium and also apparently it’s already July and that means i’m patriotic for the next week

For shaky fingers, a long stem end helps (yay physics) and so does resting on the finger webbing
well there we go! thanks for the explanation, that actually makes a lot of sense. I can see how that would help somebody that has trouble keeping their hands steady, but I don’t think I would ever spend money on one haha
Anonymous said: I remember you saying you thought Julep polishes weren't that exciting (I tend to agree) but have you seen their Plié Wand Nail Polishing Tool? It seems spendy, but totally worth it. Thoughts? (they have an interesting youtube video about it)
idk if theres something i just don’t get about this, but it doesn’t look terribly useful to me. why do i need to add a long handle to my polishes? you get the most control over your brush by holding it as close to the base as possible, so i don’t see how adding onto the end would make things easier. maybe i’m missing something but i totally don’t get it! who knows though, it could be a lifesaver?? i guess????
Is it a floral? Is it a camo? Is it an animal print? No! It’s super (abstract) mani!!
Anonymous said: Are there any nail polishes you wouldn't recommend?
Anything by Sinful Colors, because I presonally have never tried a polish of theirs that I’ve liked, though I know some people like their products soooo I’m sure they work for some people. Also I think Deborah Lippman polishes are not close to worth the price and I really don’t like the formula at all. She makes gorgeous colors and I bet the glitters are nicer than the cremes, which are all I’ve tried, but yeah not impressed with her polishes.
I can’t really think of anything else to be honest. I don’t generally love China Glaze polishes, but I feel like they make a lot more shimmers/glitters than I like and I don’t like their formulas too much but all that is personal preference over a polish being good or bad. I just tend to prefer polishes with thin formulas and I think theirs are a little thick and their brushes thinner than I like. I am a little picky though…

I do! I really like the color, but I don’t think it looks very good against my skin tone when I’m not tan. It looks gorgeous on other people with darker skin than mine, so about 90% of the population haha.
There’s nothing new about watermelon nails but dang if theys not cute
MY BAE lookin cute as hell. Showed up at my house today and blackmailed me into painting her nails but I love her anyways. @flossgloss bikini coral and pony are made for each other, it’s kinda ridiculous.
Butter London all hail the queen is the most exciting neutral ever. Totally office appropriate and then you get it in sunlight and BOOM holo!
I don’t mean to frighten you, but remember that tutorial I promised you months and months ago……? I filmed it. It’ll be up either tonight or tomorrow so prepare yourself because it’s been forever and I AM RUSTY.
My right hand is capable of many things, but posing for nail photos is not one of them. Finally something different from me! And by different I mean something I was doing all the time 3 moths ago. What a huge range I have!
