GUYS I TOOK A REAL PHOTO WITH AN ACTUAL REAL LIFE CAMERA THAT ISN’T ATTACHED TO A PHONE. THAT HASN’T HAPPENED IN A REALLY LONG TIME. AND LOOK HOW NICE THAT IS. I SHOULD DO THIS MORE OFTEN. NEW YEARS RESOLUTION. BOOM.

but really this was so freakin’ hard to photograph but i was DETERMINED to get a good one because this is such a pretty manicure. Definitely my new years nails. Loose glitters are fun!

I’m starting that nail art challenge I reblogged a few days ago! The first day is glitter, which is something I almost never wear. So this is a pretty big deal for me. The glitter is Milani Jewel FX in Gold, and I just dabbed it onto a piece of foil and placed it in chunks (almost wrote chinks there WHOOPS) with a smallish dotting tool. It was pretty easy, and I’m actually really happy with how this turned out. Especially the flowers, but that’s no news to any of you. Yay!

These nails are ridiculous. For the glittery nails, I have a layer of black, then OPI Crown Me Already, then Spoiled Pet My Peacock, and finally Ulta Pinata-yada-yada. I’m not gonna lie, I did these only on my left hand and then removed them immediately after I took a decent photo (which btw is HARD with glitter!! Jeez!!) I like them fine, just not for everyday kind of things, and I REALLY didn’t wanna have to deal with removal once they had dried into a protective armor.

I just got the rhinestones, and they’re from Amazon, I just googled nail art rhinestones and I believe THESE are the ones I got. They’re pretty nice, there are lots of different colors and pretty cheap if you’re just starting out experimenting with rhinestones. 

Jeez… I can’t stop looking at this photo without laughing. What an insane manicure.
