OHHHHH lookie lookie what we have here a watercolor birdie tutorial! Check that out! NICE! Also this tutorial is super long… I tried to cut it down as much as possible without cutting out actual important information. So. Yeah. There’s that.

GUYS I TOOK A REAL PHOTO WITH AN ACTUAL REAL LIFE CAMERA THAT ISN’T ATTACHED TO A PHONE. THAT HASN’T HAPPENED IN A REALLY LONG TIME. AND LOOK HOW NICE THAT IS. I SHOULD DO THIS MORE OFTEN. NEW YEARS RESOLUTION. BOOM.
but really this was so freakin’ hard to photograph but i was DETERMINED to get a good one because this is such a pretty manicure. Definitely my new years nails. Loose glitters are fun!

So I’ve been meaning to make tutorials more often recently, but my nice camera that I shoot videos with ran out of batteries (and it’s not a rechargable kind of camera) and I have yet to get new batteries. Thus, I was playing around tonight and decided to try out a different style of tutorial. I definitely prefer doing it with videos, but I figured this might be nice when I’m doing more simple designs where heavy explaining isn’t involved. Also I can look like shit while doing these, so that’s a plus for sure.
The polishes I used (in order of appearance) are Urban Outfitters Virgin, Love & Beauty Avocado, American Apparel Palm Springs, Essie Fear or Desire, OPI Kiss Me On My Tulips, and American Apparel Hunter.
So, what do you think of this format of tutorials? Do you prefer it? Do you miss my ramblings? Let me know!

Velvet nails! Surprisingly LOVED these, so here’s a video talking about the product and then showing you how to get those bad boys. ENJOY

Another tutorial! This is for the dry marbled nails I posted last night! Super quick and easy, enjoy!

Dry marbling! The metallic polish is orly rage and I marbled these with a striper brush and thy were super fast and pretty awesome for taking not too long. Yeah! #nailart #nails

Here’s the tutorial I made for my baroque/brocade nails! It’s not the most solid one I’ve ever made, but I hope it will at least give you the general idea of how to do these nails!

Here’s my Halloween manicure! Or the closest I’m getting to one… The mani I posted last night got wrecked in the shower. Darn you personal hygiene! #nailart #nails #baroque

Started these nails with no real plan in mind, just kinda going with the flow and picking colors I thought looked nice together haha. The outcome is growing on me, because I was pretty sure I hated if when I first finished #nails #nailart #floral

Few days old Halloween nails. I was envy, and these just matched my outfit. I do really love how they turned out though! #nails #nailart

I’m not dead guys, I promise! I am also still doing the challenge (though at this pace it’ll take a year to finish it) and here’s my glitter nails! If you wanna read about my experience with peel-off base coats (aka glue), go HERE. Thanks : )

Tried splatter/spray bottle nails for the first time, AND used acrylic paint on my nails for the first time! A spray bottle an acrylic paint diluted with water is how I achieved this. They look like bird eggs! #nailart #nails (Taken with Instagram)
